Refund Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases and subscriptions in the Luma app and on the Luma Health website (the "Service"), operated by Amory Apps Corp. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Purchases Made Through App Stores
Luma is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. If you purchased a subscription or made an in-app purchase through an app store, the payment was processed by the respective platform, and refunds are governed by that platform's policies:
- Apple App Store: refund requests are submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple makes the final decision on refunds for purchases made through the App Store, and we are unable to issue refunds for such purchases ourselves;
- Google Play: refund requests can be submitted through the Google Play Store or its support pages in accordance with Google Play's refund policies.
If you need assistance with a platform refund request, our support team will be glad to guide you through the process.
2. Purchases Made Directly From Us
Where a purchase is made directly through the Luma Health website (rather than through an app store), the following applies:
- You may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase or of the start of a subscription period, provided the request is made in good faith;
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method;
- Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
3. EU and UK Consumers — Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content or services within 14 days without giving a reason. By starting to use digital content or services immediately, you acknowledge that you may lose the right of withdrawal once performance has begun with your express consent. This does not affect your statutory rights in the case of faulty or misdescribed services.
4. Renewals and Unused Periods
Except where required by applicable law or by the relevant app store's policies, fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods or unused features. Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current period; you retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period. See our Subscription Terms for cancellation instructions.
5. Outcomes Are Not Grounds for Refunds
Luma provides educational content and personalized guidance, not medical treatment. As explained in our Terms of Service, we do not guarantee any health, nutrition, or fertility outcome, and the absence of a particular personal result does not by itself constitute grounds for a refund. This does not limit any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in exceptional cases, such as duplicate charges, verified billing errors on our side, or extended unavailability of a paid feature caused by us. Issuing a refund in one instance does not obligate us to issue refunds in other instances.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a direct purchase, or for help with an app store refund, contact us at support@lumahealth.me and include:
- The email address associated with your purchase or account;
- The order or transaction identifier, where possible;
- The date of the charge and a brief description of the issue.
We aim to respond to all refund inquiries within a few business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated Policy is posted, as indicated by the "Last updated" date above, and apply to purchases made after that date.
